The Willow Ridge Press studio has been as bustling as Santa’s workshop, with quilt designs and color palettes flying out the door to be under the tree of major fabric manufacturers. I do wish I could share them with you all, but like the best gifts, they are a secret until they’re unwrapped! I promise you’ll see them in 2009.
I’ve got some decidedly contrite catching up to do, so today I’m giving away two gifts to two lucky readers. Major chances of winning, here ladies. And the gifts?
- Strawberry Jellies quilt pattern, from Me & My Sister Designs
- Two Oh So Charming patterns from Larisa Key: Nine-Patch Charm Walk and Charm Play
I so adored your Christmas memories – thank you for sharing. Wonderful memories of a father’s laugh, a beloved Timex watch, hearing reindeer bells and Santa, and choosing the perfect Christmas tree. The magic of Christmas is, indeed, alive here at Quilts & Creativity. If you’re not reading the comments, you’re really missing out. Take the time and your heart will be warmed.
The winner of Alex Anderson’s Hopscotch pattern? Samantha Jo – you’re the lucky winner, come on down and claim your gift! Send me you mailing address to: maria [at]colormastery.com.
Today, let’s share your favorite Christmas cards you give or receive. I make a handmade card every year to send out. My favorite is one that was so simple: a construction paper house, literally torn and collaged, with photos of our family as the windows. Now that our kids are older, we include artwork from all of us, along with favorite family photos. I love receiving handmade cards. In this day of photo cards with printed signatures from everyone in the family, they are few in number, but adored by me, all the same. What are yours?
